Recently opened at Marina Times Square, this place serves some of the best noodles in town. What makes it so special is that they serve the noodles with their roasted meat specialty. This is not your usual taste of roasted meat. They created their own technique to ensure that their roasted meat is bursting with flavors. Unlike some char siew or fried pork you have during your usual lunch time, each bite into Wang Xiang’s assorted servings of meat will leave you craving for more.
You can choose between a few noodle choices like homemade noodles, bamboo noodles, mee hoon and kueh tiaw. We chose the homemade noodles because apparently it’s a favorite’s choice among their customers. They were not wrong! The noodles were springy and it just melts in your mouth with each bite. And to top it off with the roasted and BBQ pork, the whole plate just comes to life.
Besides their noodles, they also serve a variety of Dim Sum such as “Shao Mai” and glutinous rice with chicken. Their glutinous rice has a unique taste that is much more concentrated as compared to your usual one. This could be because of the flavor from the chicken.
This place is usually filled with locals trying out their noodles and assorted roasted meat. So be prepared to wait in line for a seat during peak hours! In terms of parking, there is ample parking in front of the shop so driving there won’t be a problem. In terms of the price, we think that it was quite reasonable given the portion of the meat and noodles.
