About Shell Deli2Go
Hello Borneo Foodies! Have you guys heard of Shell deli2go? Deli2go was first launched globally in 2014. They are widely known in West Malaysia too! Now, there are a total of 10 deli2go in Sarawak and Sabah combined. Deli2go is Shell’s very own branded food label.
They are known for their wide range of delicious, freshly baked pastries. Speaking of pastries, they have recently added a new menu to their range of pastries: croffle! *shrieks*. If you don’t already know it, croffles are THE perfect match made in the pastry heaven! Croffles are made by cooking croissant dough on a waffle pan so it looks like a waffle!
Shell Deli2Go Experience
Our team got the chance to visit two of the four available Shell Deli2go in Kuching, Sarawak! One in Jalan Matang and the other one in Jalan Penrissen Batu 5 ½. Our experience at both of the outlets is nothing short of amazing. I believe when it comes to visiting cafes, restaurants, or even roadside stalls, it’s the whole customer service experience that matters the most. The feeling that you bring home after visiting the place. Both places left a warm, fuzzy feeling in me after.
Shell Deli2Go Croffles
Now, let’s not get emotional. Let’s dig in more on the croffles available at Shell Deli2go. The Deli2go croffles are one of the newly introduced menu items in their “Panas panas days” campaign. Their croffles are available in 3 Basic flavours and 3 Signature flavours. The 3 Basic flavours are Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Kaya. Whereas, the newly added Signature flavours are Nestum Crunch, Milo Dinosaur, and Marshmallow! We got to try all 6 of them.
Of all the basic flavors, my personal favorite would be the Kaya – my love for coconut is unconditional, no matter what form! As for the Signature flavours, I had a hard time choosing favorites, cause they all taste good! The Nestum Crunch gives you that mild crunchy taste, whereas the Milo Dinosaur is simply delicious. But, I have to give it to the Marshmallow. I’d definitely want more of them now!

How Shell Deli2go Croffles are made…
The best part is all the croffles are prepared fresh DAILY! It was really fun to watch how they prepared our croffles! The smell of the croissant filled the whole Shell station, fuhhh! It made my stomach automatically growl.
You BAKE the world a BUTTER place – Pastries at Shell Deli2go
Before they had croffle on the menu, pastries ruled the Shell deli2go! When we first walked into the outlet, I was actually so excited to see the wide choices they have for baked pastries! Not only that, all of them are freshly baked daily at the station. Just look at them! These pastries are available from 7.30 am until 8.00 pm.
I personally love the Signature Chocolate Roll and Mini Pandan Lattice! On the other hand, the Firecracker Sausage was recommended by the retailers.

Shell deli2go is definitely a one-stop for everything, literally! You can get groceries, food, pastries, and even freshly brewed coffee. Count me in! Take my money. Costa Coffee is available at both Shell deli2go we went! They have hot drinks ranging from Americano, Flat White, Salted Caramel Macchiato, and many more. As for iced drinks, they have a lot too. I’ll attach the menu down here for reference.
Verdict
I’d say this, again and again, our experience was nothing short but amazing! The Frontline Heroes at both Shell stations we went to were very welcoming and friendly. The pastries and croffles are without a doubt amazing too. I believe it’s really convenient for those who are in a rush. If you don’t have the time for breakfast in the morning, you can simply grab and go at Shell Deli2go.
