1. The Nest Cafe and Lounge

The Nest is the perfect place for people who love the posh and stylishly luxurious lifestyle. The place has a great and high-end ambiance and vibe. Full with tasteful decor, especially a huge portrait of a girl with a Red Indian headpiece. Most importantly, they serve scrumptious breakfasts to satisfy our empty tummies.

One of the signature breakfast dishes would be their Eggs Benedict. Fun fact , this awesome dish was named after a Wall Street broker , Lemuel Benedict Lemuel ordered poached eggs,bacon, Hollandaise sauce on a toasty bun to get over his hangover at the Waldorf Hotel.

There are many factors that make a great Eggs Benedict and I think it is safe to say that The Nest has indeed satisfies those factors. First factor would be the poached egg. The Nest serves poached eggs that have a runny yolk and firm whites. The other factor would be the Hollandaise sauce which is one of the five mother sauces in French Cuisine. The Nest will present you with a creamy Hollandaise sauce with a mild tang.

One of the recommended Eggs Benedict from the menu would be the Fluoratine Benedict. The Fluoratine Benedict consists of two poached eggs, creamed grilled spinach, Parmesan cheese, Hollandaise sauce on toasted English muffins. It is an “egg-cellent” breakfast option.

2. Piato Brekkie

Piato Brekkie has been open for business for quite some time compared to the other breakfast spots on this list. Fun Fact, the word “Piato” means a dish or food in Greek. However, Piato Brekkie does not specialize in Greek Cuisine but they do serve some awesome breakfast to fill up your tummy. They have a wide variety of breakfast choices. If you are unsure of what to have for a western breakfast then have a look at their menu and you will find something you’ll like. They have both sweet and savoury breakfast options for you to choose.

One thing worth mentioning about Piato Brekkie would be the Pick Your Own Brekkie section on the menu. If you are very selective with your food then this is a huge bonus for you. Build your own customize breakfast with the options provided on the menu.

First thing on the agenda, Carbohydrates. You can choose white wheat bread or 8 Grain bread. Croissants are also available if you are feeling fancy. Or some garlic bread for something tasteful. You could just skip the bread if you are on a Keto Diet.

A western breakfast wouldn’t be complete without some eggs. So, choose how you want your eggs. Scrambled, Poached or Sunny side up. Then, you have a list of sides for you to choose from. 3. Little Roast Co.

Little Roast Co. is a small and cozy cafe that opened in 2017. It’s been the crowd’s favourite place for comfort food. Beef Lasagna, Roasted Chicken, Herb Lamb Stew Spaghetti have won the hearts of many locals. Why not experience it yourself?

The Roasted Chicken is one of the specialties at Little Roast Co. It is definitely cooked with love. According to Little Roast Co, they cook their roasted chicken with 3 steps. Step one would be to marinate the chicken. The chicken is marinated so that it absorbs as much flavour as possible from the herbs, spices and sauce. The chicken is the left to do its thing for 12 hours. After that, the chicken is seared on a hot sizzling pan. Searing the chicken will help with the texture. The chicken will have crispy skin and juicy meat after searing. Lastly, the chicken is put into the oven for 1 hour at 180°c to be roasted. After all that, the chicken is ready to be served!

This just proves that the roasted chicken is a product of a labour of love. Who wouldn’t enjoy that? Plus, the roasted chicken is served with creamy mash potato and a side of coleslaw.

If you are a sweet tooth then don’t you worry. Little Roast Co. serves some incredible toasties as well. It is like their western twist on Roti Kahwin. They have Kaya Toasties and Peanut Butter Toasties. You can enjoy the toasties as they are or a set with some eggs. Many people wouldn’t be complete with their morning coffee.

4. Zeppelin Restaurant

Zeppelin Restaurant officially started their operation in 2018. Zeppelin is actually a collaboration with Kenny’s and Koffee Brick. Kenny’s was once a delightful restaurant that emphasizes fine dining. Koffee Brick was known as the caffeine bar. Merge these two together you get a great mix of blissful coffee and contemporary cuisine. Thus, customers love to dine in throughout the day with various meals. Sunday roasts, evening coffee, dinner, late night desserts and of course, breakfast has to be one of them.

Try their Big Breakfast platter! It is definitely very special and one of a kind. Why you might ask? Well, there are many factors that make this breakfast warm and hearty. First and foremost, the homemade corned beef and potato hash. On the side , you can find 3 kinds of meat that are absolutely delicious. Those meats are turkey ham, streaky beef and a beef sausage.

Other than that,you also get a piece of your bread of choice: White bread, Sourdough and Baguette. One thing worth mentioning is that the bread they serve is made from scratch. All of these great elements combined into one dish will give you a product of true passion and love for food. What more could you ask for?

Having coffee at Zeppelin will guarantee you top notch quality. Just to let you know, the coffee that they serve goes through a quality check to make sure customers get the best and nothing less. 5. Mayland Coffee House 

Are you a fan of sandwiches and croissants? Then, you should try having breakfast at Mayland Coffee House. They have a few delightful sandwiches and croissants for you to try. Perfect for someone who prefers something simple and light.

Croissants are a common French breakfast pastry but it is actually from Austria. The word “croissants” originate from the word crescent in French. The yeast-leavened dough makes a buttery and flaky pastry. Mayland Coffee House offers a variety of fillings to go with your delicious croissants. There is Egg Mayo , Vegetarian fillings, Chicken, Tuna and Turkey. Pick one and enjoy the simplicity of the croissant.

You should also try their sandwiches. There are two types of bread for you to choose from which are wholemeal and white bread. You can choose the fillings as well. The options are the same as croissants. Enjoy your sandwiches with a cup of coffee.

Did I mention that Mayland Coffee House does amazing coffee art? This would be a major score as we also eat with our eyes. This breakfast option is not super heavy and definitely enough to fill you up for the morning.
